The main visual poster of the 2023 Golden Rooster and hundred Flowers Film Festival will open in Xiamen on November 1st.

On October 9, the 2023 China Golden Rooster and hundred Flowers Film Festival was held in Beijing. Organizers announced that this year's Film Festival will be held in Xiamen from November 1 to 4, increasing from three days last year to four days.

Wu Zidong, member of the standing Committee of the Xiamen Municipal CPC Committee and minister of the propaganda Department, introduced the preparations for the film festival. in terms of internationalization, this year's film festival will focus on the BRICS, "Belt and Road Initiative" countries and Xiamen Friendship City. the Golden Rooster International Film Festival and the Golden Rooster Chinese Film Festival will be held to show excellent films from more than 30 countries and regions, including Russia, France and Brazil. In terms of mass character, outdoor shows, film art exhibitions and national film festivals will be held, which will be open to the public free of charge. In terms of effectiveness, on the basis of making good use of venture capital, short film season and film market incubation platform, this year's Film Festival will also organize a number of cultural film and television industry projects to sign contracts.

Yan Shaofei, deputy secretary of the party group and secretary-general of the China Film Association, introduced the arrangements and characteristics of the main activities of the festival, including the opening ceremony and film concert, nominee recognition ceremony, red carpet ceremony, closing ceremony and award ceremony. In addition, there are various thematic forums, film markets, symposiums and other activities.
