The shortlist for the 29th Magnolia Award was announced! 7 CCTV premieres shortlisted for best TV series

On the 30th, the shortlist for the 29th Magnolia Awards was announced, consisting of five categories: Chinese drama, overseas drama, animation, documentary, and variety shows! Among them, 7 CCTV's premiere dramas were shortlisted for the best Chinese TV series, namely,"The Years of the Great River are Like Songs","Flowers","Glory of Fathers","Coming from South to North","Asking the Boundless","Asking the Heart" and "Chasing the Wind".

Ding Yongdai, Fan Wei, Hu Ge, Wang Renjun and Wang Yang were shortlisted for best male roles; Ren Suxi, Tang Yan, Yan Ni, Yang Zi and Zhou Xun were shortlisted for best female roles; Chen Minghao, Dong Yong, Dong Zijian, Liao Fan and Ning Li were shortlisted for best supporting actors; Chen Chong, Fan Tianan, Jiang Yan, Ni Hongjie and Song Jia were shortlisted for best supporting actress.

It is worth mentioning that CCTV's premiere drama "Flowers" won 8 nominations including Best Director, Best Screenplay (Adaptation), Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress, and won all nominations for the Magnolia Award.
