The film Dog, directed by Guan Hu and starring Peng Yuyan and Tong Liya, won high praise after its premiere at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival and won the best picture in the "one kind of attention" unit, making it the only Chinese-language film to win an award in Cannes this year. The film will be released nationwide on June 15.
