# Part I overview of Guizhou Provincial Department of culture and Tourism
## 1、 Main responsibilities of the Department
Guizhou Provincial Department of culture and tourism is one of the constituent departments of Guizhou Provincial People's government. Its main responsibilities are as follows:
（1） Implement the guidelines, policies, decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee on cultural and tourism work, and adhere to and strengthen the party's centralized and unified leadership over cultural and tourism work in the process of performing their duties. Study and formulate cultural and tourism policies and measures, and draft local regulations and rules on culture and tourism.
（2） Make overall plans for the development of cultural undertakings, cultural industries and tourism, draw up development plans and organize their implementation, promote the integrated development of culture and tourism, and promote the reform of cultural and tourism systems and mechanisms.
（3） Manage major cultural activities, guide the construction of key cultural facilities, organize the promotion of the overall image of tourism, promote the foreign cooperation and international and domestic market promotion of the cultural industry and tourism industry, formulate tourism market development strategies and organize their implementation, and promote global tourism as a whole.
（4） Guide and manage literary and art undertakings, guide artistic creation and production, support guiding, representative and exemplary literary and art works that embody the core socialist values, and promote the development of various arts and art varieties.
（5） Be responsible for the development of public cultural undertakings, promote the construction of public cultural service system and tourism public services, deeply implement the cultural benefit project, and comprehensively promote the standardization and equalization of basic public cultural services.
（6） We will comprehensively promote the innovative development of culture and tourism science and technology, and promote the informatization and standardization of the culture and tourism industry.
（7） Be responsible for the protection of intangible cultural heritage and promote the protection, inheritance, popularization, promotion and revitalization of intangible cultural heritage.
（8） Plan the cultural industry and tourism industry as a whole, organize and implement the general survey, excavation, protection and utilization of cultural and tourism resources, and promote the development of cultural industry and tourism industry.
（9） Comprehensively promote the development of eco-tourism and rural tourism, promote the poverty alleviation and development of cultural tourism, and participate in the construction of Rural Revitalization Strategy, "Colorful Guizhou Park province" and "China hot spring province".

（12） Guide and manage cultural and tourism exchanges, cooperation, publicity and promotion, organize large-scale cultural and tourism foreign exchange activities, and promote local culture to go global.
（13） Draw up plans for the development of cultural relics and museums, coordinate and guide the protection of cultural relics, museums and archaeology, and promote the construction of public service systems for cultural relics and museums. Responsible for the supervision and administration of cultural relics and museums. We will promote the informatization and standardization of cultural relics and museums and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in cultural relics protection.
（14） In combination with department responsibilities, do a good job in military civilian integration, poverty alleviation and development and other related work; Increase investment in science and technology, improve the ability of scientific and technological innovation, and provide guarantee for promoting innovation driven development; Be responsible for the safety production and fire safety work of the Department and the industry; Do a good job in the development and application of big data and the management of government data resources according to regulations, and promote the standardized management, sharing and opening of department government data resources according to law.
