The basic purpose of the China Association for the protection of intangible cultural heritage is to protect intangible cultural heritage, promote the inheritance, dissemination and development of intangible cultural heritage, and inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation on the basis of abiding by the national constitution, laws, regulations and relevant policies and observing social morality.
The China Association for the protection of intangible cultural heritage was established in Beijing in November 2013 with the approval of the Ministry of culture (now the Ministry of culture and Tourism) on April 12, 2012 (WBH [2012] No. 507) and the Ministry of Civil Affairs on November 12, 2012 (MOH [2012] No. 379). It is a national, industrial and non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals engaged in the protection of intangible cultural heritage, Its superior unit is the Ministry of culture and tourism.
The basic purpose of the China Association for the protection of intangible cultural heritage is to protect intangible cultural heritage, promote the inheritance, dissemination and development of intangible cultural heritage, and inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation on the basis of abiding by the national constitution, laws, regulations and relevant policies and observing social morality. The business scope includes: investigation and research, information collection, holding exhibitions, professional training, consulting services and international cooperation.
