2017 Beijing Film and TV Drama Africa Show season kicks off in Zambia
Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, publication, Radio, Film and Television, and sponsored by Sida Times Group, the "2017 Beijing Film and Television Show and broadcast season" was launched in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, on July 31. Wang Yefei, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, publication, Radio, Film and Television, said in her speech that carrying out the exhibition and broadcast season of Beijing film and television dramas in Africa is an important measure for the Beijing Bureau of Press, publication, Radio, Film and Television to promote Chinese film and television, especially Beijing film and television, to enter Africa and promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa.
this year's exhibition season will show eight excellent Beijing movies and TV dramas, including "Guardian Beauty", "Let's fall in Love", "struggle" and "everything is all right". Throughout the year, 17 films and 400 TV dramas will be broadcast in seven languages, including England, France, Portugal, Swahili and Hausa.
Zambian Minister of Information and Broadcasting Campamba Mulenga thanked China at the launching ceremony for choosing Zambia as the host country for the exhibition season. She said that the traditional friendship between China and Zambia has a long history, and cultural exchange activities such as the exhibition of films and TV dramas between the two countries are conducive to enhancing mutual understanding and bringing people closer.
