The international poster for the movie "Misjudgment" debuts, and Zhen Zidan and Huang Baiming once again partnered together to fight for justice

The film "Misjudgment", directed and starred by Yen Zidan and co-produced by Huang Baiming and Yen Zidan, released an international version of the poster today and released three stills for the first time. In the poster, Donnie Yen, wearing a robe and wig symbolizing Hong Kong's judiciary, holds a scale with determination in his eyes, and the numerous scars on his arms also show the hardships he has put into maintaining justice.

Following the international version of the poster, the film also released three still photos for the first time. In different scenes, Yen Zidan either attacked hard to stimulate the fight, stood in the court and made a strong speech, or held a gun in the subway in a tense confrontation, vividly showing the image of a prosecutor who adhered to his original intention, safeguarded justice, and was willing to fight for justice to the end.

The film tells the story of a miscarriage of justice caused by express parcels: a young Hong Kong man was involved in a drug trafficking case for helping a friend collect express parcels and was sentenced to 27 years in prison. The prosecutor played by Yen Zidan tries to correct the misjudgment, but discovers deeper darkness in the process. The story is adapted from a real case in Hong Kong. In 2016, Hong Kong young man Ma Jiajian was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison for helping a friend collect express delivery. After a court retrial in 2021, Ma Jiajian was declared innocent and released in court. The case once caused an uproar in Hong Kong society, and the rule of law in Hong Kong has faced repeated questioning and condemnation from the public. Through this misjudgment case, the film also exposes a dark corner of the rule of law in Hong Kong.

This time is not only the cooperation between Huang Baiming and Yen Zidan, the golden partner, after many years of work such as "Dragon Tiger Gate","The Fuse" and "Ip Man" series, but also the new work that Yen Zidan once again acts as the director and producer of the films "Ip Man 4" and "Zhang Tianzhi" and Huang Baiming have co-produced. The movie "Misjudgment" is the first work by Huang Baiming and Yen Zidan after announcing they have become strategic partners last year.
