Actor Tilda Swinton (Tilda Swinton) joins the Green Project Movie Master Class

The Chinese Film Directors Association supports the CFDG Chinese Young Film Directors support Program (Green Project), which continues to help Chinese films build up the creative strength of young people. Following the co-establishment of the first Film Master Class and Film Festival in 2022, the two sides will open the 2023 Film Master Class from September to December this year. The theme Film Festival entitled "before becoming a Director-the original and Future of Film" will be held from September 22 to 24 at the Art Theater of China Film Archive (Xiao Xitian Dian). Actor Tilda Swinton will join the Green Project Film Master Class, becoming the first invited international master after photographers Li Pingbin, Zeng Nianping and Yu Jingping and director Guo Fan in 2023. Tilda Swinton will also participate in this exhibition.

As an actor, producer and screenwriter, Tilda Swinton has multiple artistic identities, open concepts of life, ever-changing role interpretation, and constantly surging "possibilities". This master class hopes to follow her sharing to explore the infinite "possibility" of creation and artistic life between "the original and the future of the film".

The Green Project "before becoming a Director-the original and Future of the Film" theme film festival also invited "the Last and original Human", narrated by Tilda Swinton, as the opening film, which was directed by J ó hann J ó Hannsson and was shortlisted for the special show unit of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival. The director and the creative team use avant-garde techniques to present a vision of the future human world, which contains unique and rich aesthetic and cultural implications. The huge building "Spomeniks" left by Yugoslavia during the Tito period composed a magnificent symphony about the future of mankind in a mixture of black and white images.

As a modern art form, film urgently needs to inject new energy to maintain its vitality. as the earliest support system for young directors in China with the highest success rate of venture capital, the Green Project will continue the spirit of intergenerational inheritance and provide communication opportunities for different generations of filmmakers. we will continue to encourage the new generation of filmmakers to engage in dialogue with the wider world through cameras to promote new artistic transcendence and breakthroughs.
